Frrst recorded by Alexander Borowsky on piano in 1938, the Inventions and Sinfonias have long entranced generations of music lovers who cut their teeth on them. Here they are presented alongside other Bach keyboard works whose presence in the juvenile’s keyboard curriculum has caused them to be greatly underestimated as works in their own right.
